Lidl Worker from Nutts Corner Distribution Centre Wins National Inclusion Award
Mark McGuire, a Supply Chain Analyst at Lidl's Nutts Corner Regional Distribution Centre, received the Lidl Impact Award for Inclusion and Belonging at the 2026 National Achievement Awards.
He was selected as one of six top winners from more than 6,000 employees across Lidl's operations on the island of Ireland.
The award recognises his work to promote inclusion through an internal article titled 'No Big Deal'. McGuire's piece emphasised building belonging via daily interactions rather than formal programs.
The awards ceremony occurred this week at the Clayton Hotel Burlington Road in Dublin. Twenty-five awards were given to employees from stores, distribution centres and head office.
McGuire stated that sharing his story helped others grasp genuine allyship and that true belonging comes from everyday shared moments.
His efforts focused on making the LGBTQ+ experience more relatable in the workplace and prompting colleagues to adopt meaningful inclusion practices.
Lidl runs 235 stores, four regional distribution centres and a head office in Tallaght, employing over 6,000 people across Ireland and Northern Ireland.
