SSE Airtricity has agreed to serve as the official energy partner at Belfast's entertainment complex operated by the Odyssey Trust. The company ends its 11-year run as title sponsor of the arena with this new arrangement.

The partnership, active since 2015, includes customer benefits such as VIP access through the SSE Reward Lounge. SSE Airtricity will keep sponsoring the Energise Zone in the adjacent W5 science and discovery centre.

David Manning, SSE Airtricity's director of customer propositions, marketing and sustainability, stated the company takes pride in the past sponsorship and values ongoing customer access and the W5 sponsorship.

Steve Thornton, head of commercial and sports director at the Odyssey Trust, said the support from SSE Airtricity has proved valuable and the company will stay involved in sustainability, customer rewards and education.

Joint efforts cover sustainable energy efforts, including a prior rooftop solar installation at the site.
