South Ulster Sinfonia Announces Spring Concert in Lurgan
South Ulster Sinfonia will host its Spring Concert at St Ronan's College in Lurgan on Saturday, April 25, at 7.30pm.
The programme features Mendelssohn's Hebrides Overture, Mozart's Flute Concerto in D with soloist Ami Ogilby, and Beethoven's Symphony No 1.
The orchestra, based in Portadown, consists of more than 50 musicians. It works with local schools, community choirs, and charities to promote music making.
Philip Walton conducts the group. He is a member of the Ulster Orchestra. Fionnuala Toman leads the orchestra, which has operated for over 20 years.
Tickets range from £5 to £15. They are available online at SouthUlsterSinfonia.eventbrite.co.uk and at the door on a first-come, first-served basis.
