An actor from Moira in County Down has received a nomination for a prestigious award related to his work in a pantomime production.

Kian took the title role of Aladdin in a show produced by UK Productions at the Anvil Arts Centre in Basingstoke.

Martin Dodd, director and producer of UK Productions, stated that the team is proud of the recognition for Kian.

Dodd noted that Kian showed special qualities from the first rehearsal and formed an emotional connection with audiences during the run.

Dodd added that Kian brought warmth, sincerity, and an adventurous spirit to the role, making each performance feel personal and joyful.
