Portrush Music Society Wins Top Awards for My Fair Lady Production
Portrush Music Society's 2025 production of My Fair Lady received the outstanding show award in the Wales and Ireland section. Cast and committee members attended the awards ceremony.
Lindsay Johnson earned the outstanding female performance award for her role as Eliza Doolittle. Aidan Hughes received the outstanding male performance award for his role as Professor Henry Higgins. David Mitchell received a nomination for his role as Freddy Eynsford-Hill.
Director Kerry Kane expressed thrill for the cast and backstage team, calling it a collective effort and stating pride in the achievement.
Lindsay Johnson said she felt delighted and proud, noting the rewarding experience of playing Eliza and crediting the company's support.
Aidan Hughes described feeling honoured by the award and called the experience with the talented group unforgettable, attributing recognition to everyone involved.
