Belfast Man Denied Bail After Crumlin Home Intrusion Charge
Martin McDonagh, 46, of Cavendish Street in Belfast, faces charges related to an incident at a property in Crumlin on March 31.
Police stated at Ballymena Magistrates' Court on April 2 that McDonagh was part of a group that entered the home of a relative. Officers reported the group arrived with gloves, weapons, and balaclavas.
The court heard the event followed an unsuccessful attack attempt on one of the victims two days earlier by a co-accused.
A defence barrister confirmed McDonagh denies the charges.
Deputy District Judge Noel Dunlop refused bail. McDonagh was remanded in custody, with the case adjourned to April 28.
