Police arrested an 18-year-old man following a report of an assault on a teenage girl in west Belfast. The incident happened at the junction of Bernagh Drive and Glen Road shortly after 8:30pm on Monday, March 30.

A member of the public intervened during the assault. Officers charged the man with assault occasioning actual bodily harm. He received bail while police continue their enquiries.
