A court in Armagh has warned an L-plate driver of possible jail time following his seventh offence of driving without insurance.

The case came before magistrates after police stopped the driver. Authorities discovered he lacked valid insurance for the vehicle.

This marked the seventh such incident for the individual. The driver holds an L-plate learner's permit.

The judge returned the case for a pre-sentence report. Sentencing will follow submission of the report.
