Police in Belfast are asking for public help after two men were removed from their vehicle in a hijacking at Cavehill Country Park.

The incident took place just after 9.45pm on Thursday, 2nd April, in the carpark at the north Belfast site. Two victims sat in a black Vauxhall Grandland when suspects forced the door open and pulled them out.

One suspect possibly carried a metal object. Both suspects appeared in their 30s, wore snoods, and spoke with local accents.

Detective Sergeant Long described the event as a frightening experience for those inside the car. He urged witnesses from the Cavehill Country Park area that evening or anyone spotting the black Vauxhall Grandland under suspicious conditions to come forward.
