Clogher-Carntall Presbyterian Church organised a traditional ploughing match on March 28 in fields opposite Fardross Orange Hall. The event featured morning ploughing sessions that displayed competitors' skills. Attendees then shared a barbecue lunch in a marquee.

Ploughing continued after lunch, with participants using historical methods. The day ended with judging and prizes for entrants. Free entry attracted families and local residents.

Organisers collected donations during the event for the Northern Ireland Children’s Hospice. They thanked participants, spectators, and sponsors for their support.
