Co Tyrone Man Faces Charges Over Cannabis Cultivation in Knockloughrim and Bangor
Tadas Zemepatis, 29, from Canal Meadows in Coalisland, Co Tyrone, appeared by video link from Magilligan Prison at Magherafelt Magistrates Court.
He faces charges of involvement in the supply of cannabis, cultivating cannabis plants at Quarry Road in Knockloughrim and Lord Warden's Avenue in Bangor, criminal damage to two properties, dishonest use of electricity, and fraud by false representation through opening a bank account in another person's name.
The alleged offences occurred between April and November last year.
A police officer stated a connection between Zemepatis and the charges.
Prosecuting counsel noted the Public Prosecution Service awaits a full file not expected until May 27.
A defence lawyer informed the court that Zemepatis is a sentenced prisoner.
District Judge Conor Heaney adjourned the case to April 8 for an update.
