A case involving charges of cannabis cultivation in County Tyrone has been transferred to crown court.

Yusuf Ben Mohamed, 35, faces charges of cultivating cannabis, aiding and abetting cannabis supply, and dishonestly using electricity.

The alleged offences occurred at Tremoge Road, Pomeroy on 11 June 2019.

Mohamed, whose address is listed as unknown, has been remanded in custody since his arrest last month.

Dungannon Magistrates Court heard the case is proceeding on indictment.

District Judge Francis Rafferty remanded Mohamed to appear by video link on 27 May for a committal hearing.

The defence confirmed no bail application will be made at this stage.
