Man Remanded over Cannabis Factory in Enniskillen
Lukas Zilius appeared in Enniskillen Magistrates Court charged with offences related to a cannabis factory. The charges include possessing cannabis, cultivating cannabis, intending to supply cannabis, and dishonestly using electricity at Drumgarrow Court in Enniskillen. He faces additional charges of driving without a licence or insurance. All offences are alleged to have occurred on March 20.
Police from the PSNI Organised Crime Branch searched an address in Enniskillen on Saturday and seized a large quantity of cannabis plants along with drug paraphernalia. Zilius, listed with no fixed abode in Enniskillen, was charged following the search.
A detective constable informed the court that the charges may be linked. The defence solicitor stated there would be no bail application due to the absence of an address.
District Judge Alana McSorley remanded Zilius in custody. He is scheduled to appear again by video-link on April 20.
