Libraries NI will hold a book sale at Bangor Carnegie Library's Curve location on Saturday, April 25, from 10:00 am to 1:00 pm.

Visitors can buy a tote bag and fill it with withdrawn library books for £8 if they are library members or £10 for non-members. The books come from library stock removed during the stock management process. Staff selected the titles from various genres suitable for all ages.

Sian Cairns, Senior Services Manager with Libraries NI, noted that last year's sale drew strong attendance as people browsed titles and took home bags of books. She described it as a method to extend the life of withdrawn books, promote reading, and support book reuse.

Library staff will greet visitors, respond to questions, and enroll new members on site. Membership is free, allowing new members to pay the lower bag price that day.

Organizers advise arriving early due to expected demand.
