Belfast City Hall will display rainbow colours on Monday night to remember Bláthnaid Ní Mhaoilmheanna, a four-year-old from West Belfast.

The girl received a diagnosis of an aggressive brain tumour in May last year. She died on February 11.

Bláthnaid attended Rang 1 at Bunscoil an tSléibhe Dhuibh.

Her family arranged the City Hall tribute for March 23 during Brain Tumour Awareness Month. They invited the public to assemble at the front gates at 7.15pm.

The family aims to highlight insufficient research into children's brain tumours.
