Northern Ireland Fire and Rescue Service and PSNI responded to a man on top of scaffolding in the Holyland area of south Belfast on March 17.

Emergency services arrived at Rugby Avenue around 3 pm after a report at 2.55 pm. One fire appliance and two police officers attended the scene.

Fire service requested an aerial ladder and Specialist Rescue Team. Crews walked the man down to safety without needing further equipment.

The incident ended around 3.20 pm. The man sustained no injuries.

Police closed one side of Rugby Avenue during the response.
