A charge of possessing a knife in Antrim town centre against Damien Bryson has been withdrawn.

Bryson, aged 42 and from Queens Road in Antrim, faced the allegation related to an incident on November 27 of last year.

The case appeared at Antrim Magistrates Court, which sat in Ballymena on Tuesday.

Prosecutors chose to administer a caution instead of pursuing the charge.
