Rainbow Rehoming Centre in Derry rescued a 10-week-old Bull Crossbreed puppy named Dove last Saturday. A member of the public intervened when someone was seen swinging the puppy in a plastic bag in the city centre.

The centre is now seeking a suitable adoptive home for Dove. The puppy is friendly, affectionate, playful, mischievous, curious, and enjoys adventure, people, and attention.

Rainbow Rehoming Centre asks potential adopters to consider the time, commitment, training, and socialisation needs of a young puppy.

Those interested in adopting Dove should email [email protected] to request a Dog Application Form. More details are available on the centre's social media page.

The Rainbow Rehoming Centre opened in 1997 to shelter abandoned and unwanted cats and dogs from Derry and the North West area, providing veterinary care and finding them homes.
