Derry and Strabane Council Seeks Owner for Stray Maltese Mix in Creggan
Derry and Strabane Council is asking the owner of a Maltese mix dog found in Creggan to come forward. The dog can be claimed by contacting the Dog Control Service at 028 71 253 253 or out-of-hours at 07734 128096.
Owners must provide identification confirming their name and current address, such as a driving licence, passport or utility bill. Proof of ownership is required, including a dog licence or microchip number, veterinary bills, breed papers or family photos of the dog. A release fee applies.
The council stated it will try to rehome any unclaimed stray dog responsibly. This can happen directly from the dog shelter or through animal rehoming charities.
