Former Belfast Government Office Set for Hotel Conversion
A company associated with the Portadown-based McQuade family has purchased Clarence Court on Adelaide Street in Belfast. The seven-storey building served as the former headquarters of the Department for Infrastructure.
The new owners have submitted a pre-application planning notice for redevelopment. The plan calls for converting most of the structure into a 180-bedroom hotel, with office space retained.
The Department for Infrastructure relocated after the building was placed on the market.
