A man accused of involvement in a major cross-border drugs operation has been extradited from Spain for trial at Crown Court. The case advanced following a hearing at Newry Magistrates’ Court in Northern Ireland.

In a related development, a 24-year-old man from Bessbrook faces charges for the supply of cocaine. His case has been sent to Crown Court for April.

Bessbrook lies in County Armagh. Newry Magistrates’ Court handled initial proceedings for both cases.
