PSNI Issues Speeding Tickets Near Carrickfergus Model Primary School
Police from the Neighbourhood Policing Team carried out a speeding operation beside Carrickfergus Model Primary School on Tuesday afternoon, March 10. The action aimed to protect local pupils.
Officers stopped several drivers and issued fixed penalty notices for exceeding the speed limit. A PSNI spokesperson noted that most drivers complied with rules.
The spokesperson stressed that even a few extra miles per hour can affect emergency stops. Drivers were urged to monitor speed, remain alert, and ensure child safety.
Responsible drivers received thanks from police. The team plans operations at other district locations soon.
