Women from different backgrounds and generations in Derry met to share experiences in activism and community work. The event marked International Women’s Day.

Organizers drew inspiration from Roisin Barton. She committed her life to social justice, equality, and compassion.

Participants discussed their personal journeys. They covered projects they joined and reasons for their continued efforts to improve lives.

Féile organized the gathering. It formed part of the Connect:Interact:Create Programme.

The Executive Office’s Central Good Relations Fund supported the programme financially.

Féile thanked the women for their contributions to the local community and society.
