Police Seize Off-Road Motorbike from Teen in Creggan Area
Police in the Southway area of Creggan seized an off-road motorbike from a teenage boy during routine patrols. The boy was spoken to and reported to the Youth Diversion Officer over motoring offences.
Local residents contacted police in recent weeks with reports of anti-social behaviour connected to scramblers and e-scooters. Officers aim to reduce risks from these vehicles on public roads.
Police noted that riding scramblers or e-scooters on public roads without a driving licence or insurance creates unacceptable risks to the community. They plan to act against any rider endangering residents.
