An annual Christmas Crib Festival held at St Joseph's Hall in Omagh generated £16,500 for charity. Helen Barrett organised the event, which featured over 300 nativity sets from various countries.

All funds collected went to three organisations. Each received £5,548. Organisers noted a strong public response from Omagh and nearby areas.

UNICEF plans to direct its share toward aid in Gaza. Oxfam will apply its portion to its Ukraine humanitarian effort. Mellon Educate intends to build schools in South African townships with the money.

Barrett expressed thanks to participants who set up displays, served refreshments and performed live.
