Councillor Oliver McMullan, Mayor of Causeway Coast and Glens, held a reception at Cloonavin to recognise the efforts of Noah’s Story charity. The event honoured founders Corrina and Johnny McAleese, who started the organisation after their son Noah died in a farming accident near Ballymoney in November 2022.

Noah was two years old at the time of his death. The charity focuses on enhancing bereavement support for families who lose a child or relative.

Noah’s Story established the Infinity Room at Causeway Hospital as a private space for grieving families. The Northern Health and Social Care Trust partnered on the project.

The mayor described the charity's work as a community benefit from personal loss and highlighted the room's value for bereaved families.

Noah’s Story plans to fund similar rooms in other Northern Trust hospitals. It also backs staff training on trauma care and provides custom poetry for families to remember loved ones.
