A documentary titled Gerry Adams - A Ballymurphy Man has launched on digital platforms this week. Viewers can access it via Apple TV, Amazon Prime Video and YouTube Movies.

Trisha Ziff wrote and directed the film, with Ross McDonnell as producer. It covers Adams's path starting as a civil rights campaigner in Belfast, through his time as Sinn Féin president and role in the Irish peace process.

Adams addresses aspects of his experiences, including conflict periods, time in prison, shift to political roles and views on Irish reunification.

The production examines elements of the Troubles period and related political changes in Ireland.

It received the Best International Documentary award at the Galway Film Fleadh last year.
