Belfast Lord Mayor Selects Tre-Eco as Term Charity
Belfast Lord Mayor Councillor Tracy Kelly has chosen Tre-Eco, a social enterprise based in South Belfast, as one of her charities for the remainder of her 2025/2026 term.
Tre-Eco offers training to young volunteers in skills such as building work, plastering and power washing. The programme aims to build confidence and improve job prospects.
Councillor Kelly visited the organisation. She expressed support for its efforts to engage young people in environmental projects and address local dereliction while delivering qualifications.
The selection provides Tre-Eco with greater visibility across Belfast to advance its training and regeneration initiatives.
Lord Mayors of Belfast select multiple charities each year during their term in office. Deputy Lord Mayors and High Sheriffs make similar choices to assist local groups.
