A device detonated at the front door of a house in the Sheskin Way area of East Belfast on Monday. The blast damaged the door and windows of the property.

A man and a woman were inside the house during the incident but suffered no injuries.

Police Service of Northern Ireland officers and emergency services responded to the scene. They removed several items for forensic examination.

Cordons remained in place overnight before removal. The PSNI has requested information from witnesses who observed suspicious activity in the area.
