Portadown Coffee Business Owner Stranded in Tel Aviv After Marathon
Mark Jameson, owner of Morning Buzz Coffee in Portadown, County Armagh, missed his business relaunch scheduled for March 5. The new location sits outside the Drop Inn charity shop in the town.
Jameson travelled to Israel to run in the Tel Aviv Marathon. He became stranded there amid missile strikes on the city.
From his hotel in Tel Aviv, Jameson reported taking shelter multiple times during the attacks. No return flight has been confirmed.
Portadown lies in Northern Ireland's County Armagh. The Tel Aviv Marathon draws international runners each year. Missile activity relates to ongoing Middle East tensions.
