Fermanagh and Omagh District Council will discuss a motion on repeated missed bin collections at its forthcoming monthly meeting in Omagh. The meeting takes place at The Grange.

Ulster Unionist councillor Rosemary Barton submitted the motion. It urges the council to note ongoing problems with waste collections despite past promises from officers.

The proposal describes waste collection as an essential service for residents. It calls for officers to prepare a detailed action plan within three months.

Council members expect the plan to set clear targets and deadlines. The aim is to end missed collections and improve resident confidence.

Fermanagh and Omagh District Council provides waste services across parts of Fermanagh and Tyrone counties.
