Petrol and diesel prices across Northern Ireland stand at their lowest levels since May 2021. The regional average for petrol reached 124.8 pence per litre. Diesel averaged 132.6 pence per litre.

In Enniskillen, Fermanagh, petrol prices averaged 125.4 pence per litre, exceeding the Northern Ireland average by 0.6 pence. Local diesel averaged 134.6 pence per litre, two pence above the regional figure.

These prices reflect a drop from February 2025 levels in Enniskillen, where petrol cost 133.3 pence per litre and diesel 140.5 pence per litre. Prices last peaked in June 2022, amid Russia's invasion of Ukraine, hitting 189.9 pence for petrol and 197.5 pence for diesel across the region.

The Consumer Council for Northern Ireland records fuel prices each week and posts results online every Thursday. Its Fuel Price Checker displays local maximum, minimum, and average rates for drivers.

Karen Smyth, director of infrastructure and sustainability at the Consumer Council, explained that petrol and diesel costs include multiple factors that can differ by retailer. Retailer purchase timing and order sizes account for price variations.
