Tributes paid to South West College staff member Deborah Brown following her death
Tributes have been paid to Deborah Brown, a long-serving staff member at South West College, following her death on February 25 at Foyle Hospice. The college described her as a dedicated professional with a positive spirit and strong commitment to inclusion.
Mrs Brown, née Norris, from Rosfad Road, Drummackilowney, Ballinamallard, was the wife of Harold, daughter of Martin and Christine Norris, and sister to Kevin, Francesca, and Paul. She was also an aunt to several nieces and nephews.
South West College stated that staff were deeply saddened by her passing after nearly 20 years of service. A spokesperson noted her significant contribution to staff, students, and the community, highlighting her professionalism and commitment to inclusion.
The college extended condolences to her family, friends, and colleagues.
Friends and neighbours are invited to meet the family at Ballycassidy House Funeral Home, Killadeas Road, Enniskillen, on Thursday between 5pm and 7pm. A service of thanksgiving will take place at St Michael’s Parish Church, Trory, on Saturday at 11.30am, followed by burial in the adjoining churchyard.
