36-year-old man killed in two-vehicle collision on A5 near Omagh
A 36-year-old man has been killed in a two-vehicle collision on the A5 in the Garvaghy area of County Tyrone.
The incident occurred shortly before 10:15pm on Monday evening, involving a white Audi A6 and a silver Nissan Micra on the Omagh Road.
Police received a report of the collision and responded alongside other emergency services. The driver of the Nissan Micra was pronounced dead at the scene.
Three occupants of the Audi A6 received medical treatment at the scene and were taken to hospital with injuries not believed to be life-threatening.
The Omagh Road, between Ballygawley and Omagh, was closed in both directions overnight and into Wednesday morning for a forensic examination but has now fully reopened.
Inquiries into the incident are ongoing.
