NI Housing Executive Updates on Mamo Contractor Repairs Following Incident
The Northern Ireland Housing Executive (NIHE) has provided an update on repairs delivered by its contractor Mamo following a recent incident.
NIHE stated it was relieved that no one was hurt in the incident and expressed solidarity with Mamo's senior management during this stressful time.
The housing body has offered support to Mamo to ensure working arrangements return to normal as quickly as possible.
NIHE indicated that contracts facilitated by Mamo on its behalf are operating on a business-as-usual basis.
Emergency and urgent repairs will continue to be attended to without interruption.
Non-urgent repairs may experience some delays, but NIHE will prioritise clearing these using additional support from internal teams and local sub-contractors.
Tenants are urged to continue reporting repairs via the Customer Service Unit or tenant portal, where they will be triaged as normal.
Further updates will be provided in due course.
