Derry City and Strabane District Council has announced a public forum with the Irish Language Commissioner, Pól Deeds. The event is intended to allow the local community to hear directly from the commissioner about his work developing best practice standards for Irish language services.

These standards are designed to ensure that public authorities provide robust access to services and information in Irish. Attendees will have the opportunity to ask questions directly to the commissioner and his team.
