Mid Ulster bins collected as normal on bank holiday Monday, recycling centres shut
Residents of Mid Ulster will have their bins collected on the upcoming bank holiday Monday, the district council has confirmed.
Householders should place their bins at the kerb by 7.30am as normal, the council said. There will be no change to collection schedules for the day.
All recycling centres in the district will be closed on the Monday. They will reopen on Tuesday, September 1.
Cookstown Leisure Centre, Dungannon Leisure Centre and Greenvale Leisure Centre in Magherafelt will open from 12.30pm to 7pm. All other leisure facilities will remain closed for the holiday.
Registration services at the main council offices are closed.
Hill of The O'Neill in Dungannon and The Burnavon in Cookstown will operate from 9am to 5pm on the Monday. The Bridewell in Magherafelt is closed. Pomeroy Visitor Centre and all parks in the district will remain open.
