A 44-year-old man has been charged with child abuse image offences following a search of a property in Enniskillen.

The man faces two counts of breaching a Sexual Offences Prevention Order, as well as counts of possessing, making and distributing indecent images of children.

The search was carried out in the Old Rossorry Park area of the town on Thursday 20 August.

Public Protection Branch detectives arrested the man and charged him.

He is due to appear before Dungannon Magistrates' Court on Friday 21 August.

The Police Service of Northern Ireland said the charges will be reviewed by the Public Prosecution Service.
