A public consultation on how National Lottery funding is allocated will be the subject of an online focus group next month.

Creative Lives is hosting the session on 9 September 2026 from 11am to 12noon. Policy Director Jess Plant will lead the discussion, and officials from the DCMS Good Causes Lottery Team will give a short overview of the programme.

The event aims to gather views from creative groups across the United Kingdom, including Northern Ireland, for Creative Lives' formal response to the UK Government's call for evidence on National Lottery Good Causes.

Booking is available on the Creative Lives website. People who cannot attend can complete an online survey on GOV.UK instead.

The consultation is open to artists, cultural workers, organisations and members of the public. It will examine whether the funding works well for the public, meets community needs and is easy to access.

Participants can share their views individually or collectively.
