BALLYMENA: A 65-year-old man was caught drink-driving on the Frosses Road after leaving a caravan following a falling-out, with a breath alcohol reading of 78 against a legal limit of 35. He was banned from driving for 13 months and fined £300 at Ballymena Magistrates' Court.

LISBURN: A beautician convicted of 12 counts of having unauthorised medicinal products for sale or supply, and of possessing a Class C drug, was fined £3,600 and handed a three-month prison sentence suspended for three years. The court heard that enforcement officers found a treatment room containing unlicensed and prescription-only medicines at her home in January 2025, and the judge said she was "completely unimpressed" by how the defendant had handled the case.
