A man in his 20s was assaulted in the Lombard Street area of Belfast on Friday, 14 August, police have said.

The assault was reported shortly after 10:15pm. Officers attended the scene and the victim was taken to hospital. He had sustained a suspected broken jaw and a cut to his head.

The attacker was described as an unknown male. Police have appealed for anyone with information to come forward.
