Two community events held as part of Féile in Derry brought families together for sport, food and music.

At the GDI Family Fun Day in Galliagh's Glen Park, freestyle footballer Sam Madden gave a demonstration for children including Calvin, Callum, Ben and Darragh. Children also used a bouncy castle.

At the House in the Wells barbecue, food was prepared by Vivienne and Roslyn from the Rapid Relief team. Danny McGilloway and Libby Kennedy provided music.

Attendees at the barbecue included Andy Bonner, identified as a manager, along with Una and Neil Murray, David White of RRT, Jerome Feeney, Paddy Downey, Catherine McCauley, Amanda Polland and Ciara McKenna.
