Students at two County Armagh schools are celebrating their A-level and AS-level results, with principals reporting strong outcomes and a range of university and apprenticeship destinations.

At St Ronan's College in Lurgan, Principal Eithne Erskine said the results reflected sustained effort and commitment, and marked the end of a seven-year journey for many pupils. The school recorded its largest Year 14 cohort to date and continued improvement in academic results. The majority of students have secured places at universities including Queen's University Belfast, Ulster University, and institutions in Great Britain and internationally. A record number of leavers have secured Higher Level Apprenticeships with employers.

The top A-level male student at St Ronan's was Oisin Maher with grades A, A, A, A, and the top female was Una Maginn with A, A, A. For AS-levels, Emmet C Doran and Emma Stewart each achieved five A grades.

At St Patrick's High School in Keady, Principal Kelley McKenna said the results were among the strongest in the school's history, with many subject areas recording a 100% A-C pass rate. Students are progressing to courses including medicine, finance, medicinal chemistry, nursing, economics with Spanish, engineering and teaching, as well as higher level apprenticeships and further education. McKenna thanked staff and parents for their support.
