Police have increased patrols in Magherafelt following complaints about anti-social behaviour.

A Police Service of Northern Ireland spokesperson said neighbourhood officers are carrying out foot and mobile patrols in the town centre and surrounding housing estates. The operations aim to deter anti-social behaviour, reassure residents, and allow officers to engage with the community.

The spokesperson noted that such behaviour can occur at any time, and the patrols are part of ongoing efforts to prevent incidents.

Members of the public with concerns can report issues by calling the non-emergency number 101, or 999 in an emergency. Reports can also be made online via the PSNI website.
