The Omagh Uniform Exchange is switching to a single-week format this year, running from August 5 to 9 at St Joseph's Hall.

The organisation, established in 2020, previously opened on multiple days spread over several weeks. The change follows feedback from families who found longer days and a weekend option more accessible.

A spokesperson for the exchange said the new approach aims to balance the needs of users and volunteers, even if it will not suit everyone.

Sorting days are set for August 2 to 4, with the public opening from 9am to 5pm each day from August 5 to 9.

A call for volunteers has been issued, with over 20 people needed daily during sorting. Tasks range from sorting clothes and hanging blazers to greeting visitors and making tea.
