A 43-year-old woman has died after being found unresponsive at a property in Bangor, County Down.

Police were called to Skipperstone Street around 2am last week. The woman was taken to hospital for treatment but died on Friday 18 July.

The PSNI’s Major Investigation Team is leading the investigation. A 54-year-old man arrested on Tuesday 14 July in connection with the incident has been released on bail while enquiries continue. A post-mortem examination will be carried out.

Police have appealed for anyone who was in the area and may have dashcam or doorbell footage to contact them.
