Police are investigating a reported burglary at a residence in the Seymour Avenue area of Bangor.

The incident is believed to have occurred between 11:00 BST on Friday 19 June and 19:30 on Saturday 20 June while the property was unoccupied.

Entry was forced by smashing a rear window. Officers said the interior was left in disarray. It has not yet been confirmed whether any items were stolen.

Detectives have issued an appeal for information. They are urging anyone who noticed suspicious activity in the area during that time to contact them on 101, quoting reference number 1366 20/06/26.

Local residents are also being asked to check CCTV systems or doorbell cameras for relevant footage.
