28-year-old pedestrian in critical condition after late-night crash in Dromore
A 28-year-old man remains in a critical condition in hospital after being hit by a car in Dromore, County Down. The collision happened in the Market Square area in the early hours of Sunday 28 June.
Officers from the Police Service of Northern Ireland and colleagues from the Northern Ireland Ambulance Service attended the scene. The injured man was taken from the town centre location for urgent medical treatment.
A 20-year-old man was arrested shortly after the incident. Police have confirmed he was subsequently released on bail to allow for further enquiries to be carried out.
The investigation is ongoing. Officers are asking anyone who saw the collision, or who may have mobile phone or dash-cam footage, to come forward.
