A man in his 50s suffered serious injuries in a collision between a car and a pedestrian in Larne, County Antrim. The incident occurred at around 5.20pm on Monday, 13 April, in the Circular Road area.

Police responded to the scene where a black Vauxhall Astra struck the pedestrian. Emergency services attended, including the Northern Ireland Ambulance Service. The injured man received hospital treatment for serious injuries.

The road closed temporarily during initial enquiries but has fully reopened. Inspector Ash stated that police investigation continues.

Officers appealed for witnesses in the area at the time or anyone with mobile or dash-cam footage. Contact police on 101, quoting reference number 1205 13/04/26.
