Police have appealed for information after a man in his 30s suffered life-changing injuries in a collision in Newtownards.

Officers attended the scene at Castlebawn Retail Park shortly after 1.20pm on 23 May.

A blue Skoda Octavia struck the pedestrian. A white Vauxhall Astra parked nearby also sustained damage.

Northern Ireland Ambulance Service and Air Ambulance personnel provided treatment at the scene.

The injured man was taken to hospital.

Sergeant Young of Newtownards policing said enquiries remain ongoing.
